Big and Little with wheelbarrow  

In 1976 Big Brothers Big Sisters of Westmoreland County
was formed to serve all of Westmoreland County. Then in 1986 Big Brothers Big Sisters of Westmoreland County became a full member agency with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. After more than a year of planning, in 2001 we expanded our service area to include both Westmoreland and Fayette Counties and changed our name to
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Laurel Region.
Our Mission
To help children reach their fullest potential
through mentoring relationships.
Our Vision
To create the most gratifying volunteer opportunities in the communities we serve through a dynamic range of mentoring relationships thereby positioning Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Laurel Region as the mentoring organization of choice.
